Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy explains how Lighthouse ProjectWorks handles information in connection with NavisExplore for Autodesk Navisworks (the “Add-in”), its distribution, and related customer support. It describes the Add-in's current functionality. Autodesk, PayPal, and other independently operated services have their own privacy policies.

Information processed by the Add-in

The Add-in operates locally on your Windows computer. It reads controller buttons, sticks, triggers, and connection state to navigate the active Navisworks model and provide vibration feedback. It checks whether Navisworks is the foreground application so it can pause controller input when you switch applications.

The Add-in accesses the active Navisworks document and its viewpoints to perform the actions you request, including moving the camera, changing rendering, capturing viewpoints, and setting or returning to Home. Captured viewpoints receive an LPW name containing the local date and time. These changes are retained in your Navisworks document when you save it.

The current Add-in does not transmit controller input, model contents, viewpoints, or document information to Lighthouse ProjectWorks. It does not include advertising, analytics, cookies, user accounts, or online license checks. It does not record a history of controller input. In versions with the online guide, the Guide button opens our public guide website in your default browser. This sends a normal web request to the hosting service, which may process technical connection information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and secure the page. The Add-in does not include model, viewpoint, or controller data in this request. Earlier versions open a locally installed PDF.

Error messages may appear in the Add-in or be sent to the host's diagnostic trace listeners. The Windows installer may create a local installation log containing installation details and file paths. These diagnostics are not automatically sent to Lighthouse ProjectWorks by the Add-in or installer.

Purchases and support

If you purchase through Autodesk's marketplace, Autodesk and PayPal process the transaction. Lighthouse ProjectWorks may receive information made available to the publisher or merchant, such as your name, email address, purchased product, transaction identifier, payment status, amount, and subscription status where applicable. We use this information to administer purchases, provide support, handle refunds or disputes, and maintain required business records. We do not receive your full payment-card number or PayPal password through the Add-in.

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your contact details, correspondence, screenshots, or diagnostic files. We use it to respond and troubleshoot. Please omit confidential model data, credentials, and unrelated personal information from support materials.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We may share information with service providers supporting customer communication or business administration, only as necessary for those purposes. Providers acting on our behalf must protect that information consistently with this policy and may not use it for their own unrelated purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud or protect legal rights.

Autodesk and PayPal independently handle their own account, platform, and payment information under their respective privacy policies. This policy does not control those independent services.

Retention and deletion

Controller input is processed during operation and is not stored as an input history by the Add-in. Saved viewpoints and Home settings are managed within your Navisworks documents. You can remove saved viewpoints using Navisworks; uninstalling the Add-in does not remove them from existing documents. Local installation logs remain until removed by you or your system's cleanup process.

We retain support information for as long as needed to resolve and follow up on your request, and purchase records for as long as needed for transaction administration and applicable accounting, tax, or legal obligations. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for these purposes. Information that must be retained for legal obligations or an active dispute is restricted to those purposes.

Your choices and requests

You can stop local controller processing by disabling navigation, closing the Add-in window, or uninstalling the Add-in. You control whether to send support materials.

Contact lpwsupport@netorgft14670781.onmicrosoft.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information held by Lighthouse ProjectWorks, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify your identity. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully performed. For information held independently by Autodesk or PayPal, contact that company directly.

Security and updates

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle; no system can guarantee absolute security. We will update this policy when our practices change and revise its effective date. Material changes, including any future telemetry or online licensing, will be described before the corresponding functionality is introduced.
